To work closely with school boards, social workers, navigators, hospitals, and individuals, to provide thoughtfully assembled care bags that bring comfort and relief in difficult situations.

CADS Bags
How We Started:
In 2014, the founder was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer at the age of 35. She received a bag from a friend of all yellow items that was called “You Are My Sunshine”. This bag was meant to lift her spirits and she was so touched by the thoughtfulness that she decided to do the same for others who didn’t have the same support. This is when the idea of CADS Bags was formed. The name is derived from fellow breast cancer survivors – Candy, Cindy, Amber, Doris, and Stacey. In 2019, the group became an official non-profit 501(c)(3) through the IRS designation.
